Urgent Help Needed for Trapped Orcas!

A pod of Orcas- killer whales is trapped in the ice with a breathing hole of only approximately ten meters. It is reported the whales are bleeding, they are observed to be "taking turns" coming up for air via this small opening in the ice. The Canadian authorities have known of the predicament of the orcas since Tuesday and have not acted. Supposedly, an US Coastguard icebreaker is on it's way, but will not arrive until morning. Kasco is launching the rescue effort and is in need of a plane for transportation. Also, heavy-duty chainsaws, fuel, generators, tents, food & coffee are needed. If you or anyone you know can help, please contact kelly.sj@kascomarine.com 715-262-4488 ext 100. Thanks!
